THE FORGOTTEN NEED
By googlism2008

Joe began his own hydration procedure as he worked in his office, waiting for the meeting of another department to complete. Two weeks ago, the manager of this department has started an optional jogging session that takes place after their weekly meeting at 5 pm, when the weather starts to cool, and his employees are encouraged to take part to keep themselves healthy and fit. Kyle, being a good friend and colleague of Joe, had invited him to join in the short twenty minute leisurely jog, which he accepted. After all, Joe had not been exercising regularly, and is now concerned with his increasing waistline. It would be good to get some regular exercise to get rid of all that excess tummy fat.

And then the text message came. “We are going down now. See you at the car park!” Immediately, Joe chugged down the remaining half-liter from his one-liter water bottle, closed the doors of his office, and changed out into his running attire as fast as he could. As he squeezed into his non-stretchable black exercise shorts, he noticed that it was very tight. It reminded him of his need to lose some tummy fat. It also reminded him of another need, but this need was very mild. He locked his office door and walked directly to the car park as fast as he could, deciding that he could take care of the latter need after the jogging session. As he expected, the whole group was almost done with their stretching, and was waiting for him.

Joe did some quick leg stretching while the rest waited, and then the jog commenced. This day was unusually hot, and Joe felt that the terrain along the jogging route around the workplace was rather undulating. Having not jogged for a long time, Joe felt quite exhausted after a few minutes. But with encouragement from Kyle, Joe finally completed his jog. The group of joggers then performed cooling down exercises, and split up. Joe then went up to collect his bag. Feeling rather dehydrated, he gulped some more water. Then he joined Kyle for a dinner before going home.

With his stomach full from the dinner, Joe climbed up the stairs to the upper deck of the double-decker bus, and plopped himself into a seat. He is immediately reminded that he had forgotten to take care of his need down there. No big deal, he thought, and that need went away after a while. He looked at his watch. It was 6:30 pm. The sun has already set, the street lights have turned on, and the weather was turning cool. This is going to be a long journey home of at least an hour.

Feeling sleepy, Joe shut his eye for a nap. But the air-conditioning of the bus was a tad too strong, and it has started to get a bit too cold for Joe. Still dressed only in a white singlet and a pair of black exercise shorts, the bag on his was hardly of any additional protection from the cold air. Joe started to shiver, which sent another urge, stronger than before. This time, the urge took a bit longer to subside. But the nagging feeling lingered, and did not totally go away. He could not sleep, and silently cursed himself for forgetting about it while in the food court. Joe had been chatting with Kyle while carrying the tray load of dinner, and Joe was reminded of his need when he sat down at a table. But he thought that he could put it off until after the dinner, and had totally forgotten about it until he boarded the bus.

As the bus rumbled on and packed on more passengers, Joe was gradually and steadily feeling more pressure below, the urges getting more frequent. He last went before the meeting, which was less than three hours ago, so he wondered why he was getting so uncomfortable now. Then he remembered drinking at least two liters of water before and after the jog, unsure of how much of it had evaporated as sweat and how much remained in his body. He also remembered having a large bowl of noodles with soup for dinner, and he finished all the noodles and the soup. Then, still feeling thirsty, he downed a large cup of Coca-Cola, all the time happily talking with Kyle. He realized how much liquid he had consumed during this time, and began to worry.

Looking out of the window, he saw that the bus only just reached downtown. At least forty minutes more to go, he quietly sighed. He tried to shift himself to a more comfortable position, but his shorts were gripping his waist and crotch very tightly, not helping matters at all. The packed bus slowly rumbled through the congested downtown. Joe suddenly felt a sudden jolt, which caused him to squeeze his thighs together. And then another jolt came. He began to doubt his ability to hold it all the way to his stop, and started to contemplate getting off somewhere for relief. Much to Joe’s dismay, he noticed that the bus had just departed the downtown and entered the highway, where no facilities would be available until he arrived at his destination.

The final twenty-five minutes was simply sheer desperation; the worst Joe ever had in his entire life. His muscles were all tensed up, and he was sweating despite the cool air in the bus. He had one hand slipped under his bag, his legs slowly but constantly opening and closing: the urges were constant, but each squeeze of his thighs to control the urge added pressure to the already overly distended organ under his very tight shorts, full of trapped liquid from the overworked kidneys demanding to be released. Joe was in absolute agony, and he felt that the strength of his over exerted muscles was slipping bit by bit as the minutes passed. But he resolved to keep it in.

Just as Joe thought that he was going to lose the battle in his seat, the bus turned off the highway and Joe saw the familiar lights of his town from its upper deck. As he stood up to go down the stairs, he immediately felt the dam starting to go down. The bus rocked fast and furious down a slope as it approached the bus stop. Joe was frozen in the middle of the stairs, both hands grabbing the handrails for balance, his left foot on one step and his right foot on another step, his legs unable to cross. Even with all his might, he felt the liquid traveling down his member, centimeter by centimeter. He was so going to totally lose his control right there.

And then the bus screeched to a halt, almost throwing Joe off-balance. He was not sure whether a drop has escaped, but he was alarmed of the prospect of having an accident in his shorts. The relief station is just behind the bus stop, yet the packed bus was taking so long to empty, trapping Joe on the stairs. Repeatedly, he muttered “please hurry up, please hurry up” under his breath. After half a minute, he was finally able to exit the bus, awkwardly squeezing past the crowd and walking half-bent towards the back of the bus stop. He pushed open the Gents door so hard that it slammed with a bang, and thank goodness there was a free urinal he could use.

But Joe had another problem. He fumbled with the legs of his very tight shorts, struggling to pry his fingers inside his briefs, which seemed to have stuck onto his skin by his own sweat. As precious seconds trickled by while trying to free his member, an overwhelming surge came and he felt as if pee was starting to trickle out from the tip of his member. Finally, after what seemed to be an eternity, Joe was finally able pull his member out, piss spraying all over the urinal before he could properly take aim, and he felt one drop dribble down his leg into his shoe. It was absolute bliss as Joe peed for almost a full minute. Ahhhhhhhhhh, what sweet relief.

After the pee has fully stopped, he briefly shook his member and put it back into his shorts. He felt a small spot of wetness down there, but with a number of people in the toilet, he did not dare to check his shorts for damage. He sheepishly quickly wiped off the pee from his leg, washed his hands, and walked out of the toilet. Hopefully, any damage on his black shorts would not be visible to others. Having taken care of this long forgotten need, Joe walked home with an aching bladder, feeling light footed and very exhausted at the same time. Joe’s feeling of wetness was gone in no time, but he was never sure whether he had leaked pee, failed to shake properly, or it was just sweat. It would be a frightening thought for many days to come.
